Lord of the Rings gets Woke!

You're stupid and you don't know what 'woke' means, but I'm happy to educate you

This is low key a response to the CNN article in which angry white guys talk about how Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power is so ‘woke.’ Except, no it’s not. I watched Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power for the first few episodes. They hired like three extra actors of color to join a still mostly white cast to act out the same racist story Tolkien imagined from the jump. Don’t worry everyone. The racism is totally intact. You’re gonna love it.

That’s why I made this. This is what ‘woke’ actually looks like. An awakening. To knowledge. That whiteness isn’t actually the answer. That’s what getting ‘woke’ really means. Now you all know. Write it down. Tell your friends.
